Designed for the 2001 PGA2K Design Contest.

My goal in creating this course was to make a fairly challenging course that is not very
long. At 6641 yards from the tips, it is not a long course. I'd say that this course fits
into the "traditional" course genre. Lots of trees and bunkers, tight fairways, and very
little water. The only water I used was a small river that comes into play on a few of the
holes on the front nine, mostly on holes 4 and 9.

The contest required that there be three "short" holes. Here is my description of the
three short holes I created.

short par 3 - Hole #12 (100 yards). The main challenge in this hole is that club selection
is difficult. It's really in between a SW and PW. Bunkers guard the green front
and back, and green has very little depth, and a lot of slope from back to front.

short par 4 - Hole #4 (290 yards). The player faces a decision from the tee as to how far
they want to hit their drive. The green is definitely driveable, but a short drive
will be swallowed up by the river, and a long drive will be caught by two bunkers
behind the green. If a player chooses to lay up, they have a short carry over the
river, but club selection is important if they don't want to end up in the rough
	past the fairway.

short par 5 - Hole #11 (490 yards). This hole can be reached in two with mid-irons. A
conservative drive to the left side of the fairway leaves a second shot blocked by
trees. An agressive player can try to carry the fairway bunkers on the right which
will leave a mid-short iron into the green.

Due to lack of artistic talent and time, I just used the textures from Sahalee and
objects from Sahalee and Pasatiempo. Thanks to the designers of those two courses.
Also, thanks to Linda and SmokinJo for putting together this contest and supplying
prizes.
